Many parishes in North Texas require an approved Natural Family Planning course as part of the marriage preparation program. FEMM offers a series of four courses that focus on the connection between health and fertility. It is designed to help engaged couples understand their fertility, hormonal health, and the beauty of God's design for marriage.

Pre-Marriage
Natural Family Planning Overview
This natural family program offered by FEMM teaches engaged couples how to recognize biomarkers and their correlation to fertility and ovulation. In addition, FEMM educates couples on the important connection between reproductive health and overall health.
Four Sessions
Four in-depth sessions cover the science behind FEMM enabling to couples to identify fertility by observing hormonal biomarkers. It includes case studies of abnormal cycles and healthy cycles providing guidance on when to seek medical care from a FEMM provider. Couples are taught how to use patterns to discern family planning.
Chart Reviews
The couple will learn how to chart cycles step by step receiving individualized chart review feedback and ongoing support throughout the course of the four classes. Identifying the fertile window, peak, and the luteal phase are essential charting skills the couple will gain.
Certificate of Completion
Upon completion of the four FEMM courses, the couple receives a certificate of completion to present to their marriage preparation administrator. Before enrolling, please confirm that your marriage preparation coordinator or diocese accepts FEMM as an approved Natural Family Planning Program.

Individualized NFP Courses
Many couples prefer private instruction rather than large group NFP classes. This course offers flexible scheduling, one-on-one instruction, direct access to certified FEMM instructor, and support tailored to your cycle and health history.
